Trains direct to London are available from Ipswich 50km away. Directions from Dunwich back to Ipswich are appended to the route sheet for those who wish to ride to the rail-head after a swim and a snooze. In 2019 Greater Anglia trains ran a booking service for bikes on trains from Ipswich to London in the morning and early afternoon of DD Sunday which was free - the booking not the journey - and rumoured to be pretty efficient. |
